About

Timber Creek High School opened in the fall of 2001.  From the beginning, band directors Rhett Cox and Clif Walker set high standards and expectations that pushed the percussion ensembles to impressive heights.

In the fall of 2005, they were the winners of the Percussive Arts Society High School percussion ensemble competition and invited to perform at PASIC in Columbus, Ohio. indoor07.JPGThe decision for Timber Creek to explore the creative and educational possibilities as an independent ensemble in 2008 was the logical next step. Timber Creek Independent continues on the same solid foundation, with the same high standards, student-centered focus, work ethic, and educational commitments that have successfully fueled the scholastic percussion ensembles.

In the spring of 2008, Timber Creek Independent established the Donna M. Donnangelo Performance Scholarship. For more information on Donna and her scholarship, please visit the Scholarship page.
