Steel Drums & Drumsets & Synths: Oh My.

The 2009 installment of TCI holds a variety of opportunities for ALL. In addition to the traditional battery (snares, tenors, bass drums) and frontline (marimbas, vibes, bells), we are fielding:
- marching ride cymbals: a 21st Century cymbal line that carries a single cymbal in the left, and various sticks/brushes/mallets in the right
- drumsets: both an acoustic and electronic drumset will help recreate the authentic sound of Radiohead
- steel drums: lead pans mic’d
- synthesizers: we have the gear to field as many as we have talented folks interested
- bass guitar
- electric guitar(s)
- vocal soloist: male tenor “Thom Yorke” sound-a-like
Beyond the standard arsenal of instruments, you and your friends will have a wide range of creative and meaningful options to participate, and the audience will have a new standard of sound. See you on the 13th.
