WGI Orlando Regional reVIEW

We were watched:

The last ensemble of the evening, Timber Creek Independent (FL)(2nd: 83.95) brought us the production, “VIDE_O /TAPE”. The show features music of Radiohead complete with TCI’s own Thom Yorke (lead singer of Radiohead). Fans of the distinctive “Way Up marcher” last year will be glad to see the individual camera women. She’s hard to miss in the red hoodie, considering the rest of group appears to be part of a black and white video, thanks to their grayscale outfits. This year’s production is a little darker with themes of surveillance and insecurity. The show leaves you looking behind yourself and wondering if big brother is watching.  As TCI finds a good balance between refined art and raw emotion, don’t forget to notice all the notes they are laying down. The intense snare feature was a crowd favorite. From the beginning of the show until the emergency broadcast signal at the end, they are constantly moving –looking around to see who is watching.
